Hello,
Does anyone know of a way to silence an incoming call? So, we have users who frequently have a customer in front of them and may receive a phone call that they wish to silence. They don't want to go so far as setting their phone to DND or turning down the volume.
They are hoping for a solution like a cell phone where you can press ignore to make it stop ringing once you look at the caller ID and realize it isn't a call you must field immediately.
I've looked and cannot come up with a solution to this.
Thanks!!

Try a call redirect button.

That works for a call to the extension directly, is there any good way to deal with a call to Virtual Extension? We often use a VE to ring multiple phones at same time by assigning a function key. It doesn't look like the Redirect button will affect these.
I'm open to changing how we have VE setup if there is a better way of handling.
Thanks!!
