We have an Intertel Axxecc 8.2 system. There is only 1 node but we contact 5 different locations.
We have a 6th location. Can the Axxess system connect/network with another SMALL Mitel or Intertel system.

Yes, with the proper licensing of networking ports and IPRC card. That is if you mean real transparently networking, not sure if that is what you are referring to here.

Yes, This site may need thier own system, be some what independent, due to the nature of their business. But to link them to the Axxess and be able to have the extension to extension dialing and use of any Axxess system features would be great.

First thing you need to do is check if your existing license covers Networking. Once you log into programming, go to HELP, then About Inter-Tel Software License. The NETWORKING option needs to say YES.

is that the same as 'IP Networking License in use?
We have 0 of 0. There was no area for a yes or no on the menu.

We are going to upgrade to V11 soon. if this is an optioninal featue we may want to have that included in the quote. any thoughts.

V 11.0 will add some features for sure but will not give you networking. You will need to get a quote for the license and parts needed to network it to the other systems. Depending on the size of the system I would also price your options against a Mitel5000. I have has 2 customers it was cheaper to upgrade the cabinet and keep the existing phones. It was all part of networking and adding systems where we were able to take the 5 phones from the package and use them in place of adding those phones to the other sites. I'm not sure how much we were able to save the customer by doing it that way but be sure to look into it especially if you have any plans of adding 5 phones in the near future

Ok, thanks for the information. I will ask the rep. about the networking as we get more details from the user on their needs.
