This system is 52F9, they have 8 POTS lines, incoming calls for 2(fax's) lines stopped being routed to the correct extensions! I checked the system and have dial tone, I can send faxes from both lines, when I place outgoing calls the displayed number is correct, when I try an in coming call it defaults to the operator,
this is a common problem for 2 fax machines at the dealership, I think it is a bad SLC, I reset the card but no difference, the card is on line but never shows busy. what do you think??
Thanks Stewart

SLC's are notorious for bad ring generators. Pull the card and see whether it has one or two ring generators (about 2x2"). If it has two, then the first one powers ports 1 - 4 and the second one powers ports 5 - 8.
If there are two ring-gens, try moving the fax lines over to the other ports and see if that fixes it. If it does, you'll have proven the fault and will need to get another SLC.
Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge.
