I have an inter-tel axxess on 7.06 with a win 2000 voicemail and we are experiencing problems with transfered calls from auto attendant not forwarding to voicemail in daymode. I have already checked the system forwarding path perameters and forwarding is enabled in daymode. it works fine in night mode. I deleted the forwarding path and re-created it and then defaulted the phone and it fixed it but now its not working again. It seems to affect calls that are transferred only or routed through the AA. Direct dialed calls through a DID works fine. I have all the forwarding path perameters checked even AA/transfer. What gives? Any ideas? I am up against the wall on this one.
????? Anyone seen this? any help would be awesome.

In your forwarding path, there's a flag for Fwd Call Type - CO Transfer/AA/VM that controls called transfered to stations via Auto Attend. That flag needs to be checked Yes.

Verify that the user is not disabling system forwarding.
I've seen that happen when the number of voicemail ports is insufficient. You can get logs out of your voicemail which will give you rudimentary snapshot of the last 5 days... how many times all channels were in use, etc.
Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge.

But if the user disables system forwarding it will show up as disabled when you look in their system flags right? I have seen it where system forwarding is enabled and it still does not forward in day mode. In night mode it works fine. I am beginning to think that Tellink is on the right track with vm port availability.

Question. If a call comes in and it is answered by the auto attendant and the caller dials an extension and they don't answer, if it is because of all the vm ports being in use how is it forwarding back to the Auto attendant? Doesn't being connected to the auto attendant take up a voice mail port?

Just curious - IS the CO Transfer/AA/VM criteria of that individual system forwarding path checked YES?
This is the only option that explains day AA transfers NOT going to voicemail when the station system fwdg flag IS enabled.

Yes the CO Transfer/AA/VM flag is set to yes. if it wasnt it wouldnt work at all. It works fine at night but fails during the day.
