HI! Just looking for a estimate distance to keep Cat 6 UTP Pathway from a building Transformer ,, i don't have the Electrical specs ,,its about the size of 2 .5 ft buy 2 feet , in size . Thks,

Transformers maybe more than meet the eye , transformers maybe trouble in disguise . Take your toner probe and push the button if you hear load buzzing near the transformer move the toner higher up until it diminishes that should be the safe zone from AC induction . Remember this is just my opinion but it's always worked for me . Some times a foil shield cable must be used and grounded .
