Hey guys,

I work in IT for a school district and have recently inherited the support for this starcall system. Come to find out the contracting company that did the install 10 years ago is no longer around. With that said my Google-Fu has led me here due to a lack of any kind of documentation either kept by this school district or found online.

I am getting a system error 01 on the admin phone, I am trying to find some documentation pertaining to system codes to get me off in the right direction to troubleshoot this.

I have cleared the codes with 753# but it seems to come back consistently

I also have noticed that while said error code is in effect all of the Cpc-e cards lights are flashing

Also the time seems to be off while this is happening if that is any clue?

Error code 1 is associated with an EEPROM error on the CPC card. The four flashing lights on the CPC card when the error message is displayed is normal. Do you have a copy of the RAPID programming software? We do still have some CPC cards for the your system available I will send you a p.m. with my contact information.

Yes please do send me your contact info, I did finally a service and installation manual buried deep in reddit, we eeprom it is. I will talk with our director and get back to.

According to the manual:

Error codes appear on the ATEL display if communication problems occur within the System. These codes display as "SYSTEM ERROR" followed by a two-digit error code.When an error code appears, write down the exact display and contact your system administrator or authorized Dukane distributor for assistance.

Dukane search leads to what appears to be the new owners(?)

Thanks Tim...by the time I started researching and writing my post the problem was already handled by the resident expert.

Yes CareHawk now owns the trademark, but coincidentally that company was founded by a bunch of former Dukane engineers so they are still providing support and parts through their dealers like myself.

Prof Shadow, looks like you found a manual for the MCS350 system not the STARCall, but still a handy one to have.
