I'm new to Vertical Summit, just completed the rapid crash-course webinar. I have a KSU on my desk for a new system, and reviewing programming before it gets delivered/installed for customer. I'm trying to learn to enable/disable CO ring, by station. I'm looking at CO Line Data, CO/IP Ring Assignment. So is this as simple as adding desired stations to say group *401, then in CO/IP Ring Assignment page: Day, then selecting Attribute, Station group *401, Save? Yes, it is that simple. There's no need to put stations into a ring group unless you want to do it that way. You can just enter the station range to accomplish the same thing. Just remember to check the box in the left column before you save your entry.

The Station Range is what I was unsure about. The Range example value is given as 0~9, but stations numbered from 100- up?
So the station range would look like 100 - 112 (to me), when tested these values are not accepted or stored.

In PGM 144, enter the "Station Range" 100-112 and set the delay to "0". Make sure the tick-box is checked, then hit "Save".

Thanks Looks like the 0-9 Delay is required.
All is well. Result: [100:0][101:0][102:0][103:0][104:0][105:0][106:0][107:0][108:0][109:0][110:0][111:0][112:0]

If you want the incoming group to overflow to another group or overflow to voicemail its better to point the analogue lines at a ring group in pgm144 you can then create the ring group in pmg190 and in pgm 191 you can overflow to another group or voicemail etc. If using ISDN or SIP this would be done in the DDI table pmg231.
