Hello there, I have a customer that uses access code 9 for trunk group 1 and access code 8 for trunk group 2. Is there a way to make another access code for trunk group 3? It's been awhile, but it seems like I remember doing access code 8 which was basically already there with some minor programming but a 3rd one was more difficult.

You will have to go into system number plan area and start from there.

After talking to a couple of fellow techs, the understanding is you can only have 2 access codes for 2 separate trunk groups on the ipk II. (I'm also assuming that goes the same for the SV8100). The solution seems to be for the 3rd trunk group i need to put a trunk group key on the phones to access that group. The application is i need certain phones to access more than 1 trunk group depending on who they're calling..

Are all extensions to have access to the 3 trunk groups? If so you can assign a group trunk key to a button, there are 100 groups available.
