I have a customer with a Vodavi STSe that was hacked. When vm picks up instead of the auto attendant greeting you would receive greeting stating please hold while I transfer your call which would give you dial tone and the ability to dial out. I found that the vm ports 150-157 in station programming (Keyset Mode) were set to 01 which is PCmode, changed it to default value 0 but now I can't get the vm to pick up just rings either by 440 or 150-157 any ideas? Thanks!

It should be PC Phone and 4800 Baud. The station type should be DVM

Thank you! How do I get the ports changed back to answering with the auto att menu like 102 for day and 120 for night? It currently says please wait while I transfer your call and gives the caller dial tone for them to dial out.

you'll need to get in via the ISAdmin program via serial connection and set the Ports/Lines to ring either to Time Control or set for KSU clock control then get your menus set for the correct times/modes.

Thanks for all your help I only have 2 systems with the hard drive VM so a little rusty on them, flash card is much easier.

Changing the individual lines did work just took a while for the programming to take.

The system lines default line how to answer was already prog for time control and I even changed individual lines 1-8 for time control which should be menu 102 and VM still answers with please wait while I transfer you and it gives you dial tone to dial out! I get that when dialing 151-157 but 440 gives prompt to enter PW.

You will get dialtone if you transfer after dialing a vm port from an extension. You have to test it by getting an outside line and dialing back in.
