My question is about the fiber connection between cabinets 1 & 3 on an InterTel Axxess system ver 9.0.
Does the fiber run between the cabinets have to be a straight shot, or can it have a patch panel in the middle of two existing fiber runs for the connection?
Any info is appreciated,
Rx

The cable can go through a patch panel with no problems. It cannot however go through a switch. It needs to be multimode 62.5 and a maximum distance of 1 Km (.6 Miles) This isnt an ATM system is it?

Thanks Tito! I thought that was going to be the case, but I wanted to bounce it off someone else before I felt comfortable about it.
No, it's not an ATM.
Thanks again,
