Hi All

I have a 7400 on 4.60b with the following cards
5 dig DLI2
1 SLI3
1 x OAS V2.03
1 x SVMI 20i V6.03
1 x Tepri Vi.07

The system crashes randomly (might stay up for two weeks, then might crash every two days...)

A reboot brings everything back.

The customer knows when the system goes down as they get a voicemail alarm on the reception phone and by this time they can no longer dial out over the SIP trunks and you cant ring in over the SIP trunks either.

They used to have a PRI but they no longer have so its just SIP now for incoming and Outgoing calls.

The PRI card is still plugged in but nothing connected to it

Then we normally log in remotely to it & it does allow us to connect to it via DM then we do a reset (resart) and everything comes back ok.

If you look at the alarm history you can see a SVM NTWK Error

any ideas's what might be causing it to go down.

With just the above info, it's hard to say what could or would be wrong. I'd start off with the simple stuff, checking that there is no IP conflict with the SVMi card in the rest of their network. Were IP addresses assigned by an I.T. department or person? Don't know if this has been already checked or not, but that's my two cents worth. Good luck.

It sounds like there is a IP conflict with the SVMi and another device. Also, I would suggest upgrading the software to the latest 4.9x for the 7400. I do believe that the 4.60b had some glitches that have been fixed with the 4.9x. This will also allow for better SIP control between your phone system and provider.
