Hi There Will a MGI16 card work in a 7200s cabinet I was reading some stuff that said only an OAS or the embedded MGI ports will work, I haven't got a 7200s system to test it on I tried it on a 7100 system and it worked ok

Yes, it will work just fine. Just have to put it in one of the bottom slots (3,4,5).

Unless the newer software supports it, then no. Had a contractor try it a few years ago and it wouldn't work. Was upgrading from os7100.

A OS7200 (MCP or MP20) will work fine with a MGI16 A OS7200s (MP20S) won't work with MGI16
