I have a request to make one outside line ring two extenstions at the same time. I have been able to accomplish this by using an extension list. However when using this list the voicemail does not pick up at all. I have tried using a hunt group to the extension list but it does not ring both extentions at the same time. Any suggestions?

Make the extension list the 'member' of the hunt group and they will ring together. Don't list the individual extensions as members or they will ring independently.

I do have the hunt group listing the extenstion list not the individual phones. It will only ring the phones twice then kicks over to the original extension. I have tried changing timers or maybe it is a recall issue as I need voicemail to kick in too. Your help is appreciated.

Confused - you say 'original extension' but i'm not sure what you mean.

You have a line pointed to a HG. You only have 1 extension list as your member? What do you have for Announcement, Overflow, and Recall? How about Timers?

Ultimately you want a group of phones to ring all together and then go to a voicemail announcement or mailbox?

I was able to get it to ring it was a timer issue but know I need to get it to time out if no one answers to voicemail. I am going to add a real extension number into the recall. Will that work or is there something else I should do?

If you do that it will ring the group for the specified time then ring the ext for the amount of rings before forwarding to VM. I would build a CRA remove greetings both day and night make them blank. In digit translations for the CRA set time out to MB and the MB you want to dump to. Make this the Recall for the HG and set the Recall timer to the amount of time before dumping to CRA/MB. In the HG make sure you use a ext list or HG list however you want that includes the phones you want to ring if you list phones in the HG it will make a liniar group and will go from one phone to the next to the next and your advance timer will never advance and your recall will dump to the MB before ever ringing the other phones.
Hope this helps
Randy

Great idea but when I set it up it only rings the phones twice before dumping to voicemail. Is there a timer setting I am missing?

Thanks for all of your help. I changed the setting on the recall timer and everything is working. I would have never thought of the CRA so thanks again.
