Hi,
We had two locations joined by a private ppp line on either end of that line we had an Inter tel Axxess system. The main site closed and the main phone system was moved to the secondary site and the secondary phone system was removed. Now everything works except when phones try to make long distance calls then number is entered then the tone sounds to enter you pass code the code is entered and a fast busy signal is heard. Also the fax machines cannot enter the pass code so they need the long distance restrictions removed. Every thing looks just as it did prior to the move. Any idea why? Also if the reception phone is in use and another call comes in it is directly sent to voice mail.
Thanks

I would look at the outbound routing for the stations I suspect they are set to ars (by default that is 92000) the calls you are making are trying to send to the other node and the connection now fails. Point the stations to your main trunk group I suspect that is 92001 (could be changed, look under system/devices/trunk groups and see what group has local lines)
While you are looking at that group look at the ring destination. If it is set to single and the reception phone that is your issue with the second part of the problem, calls are going to that ext and if in use it's forwarding to VM you can fix it in 2 ways create a Hunt Group or set the forward path of that ext to not forward when busy that will allow the new call to camp
Hope this helps

Ok that fixed just about everything, thank you, but we are still unable to dial long distance on the fax machines since they also want the access code entered to dial long distance. They did not do this at the other location. What needs to be changed to give them access to long distance without entering their pin? Also the main number has changed and the default number for all stations is blank and will show the main number call from the stations. WHere is the location of the main number? THanks
