I just throw it on the highest VLAN. Done... The switches I use auto VLAN by MAC so it recognizes the NEC MAC and tags the port auto. Trunk the port the VOIP card done. Don't even have to do this if you system is small. The amount of over engineering a 10 phone system is almost laughable. I have seen the switches on these system cost more than the equipment on them for no reason.  So so True!
