We have a Starplus STS Vodavi. We are unable to change the MAIN outgoing greeting, only the greeting for each station. We need to change the main greeting and the a temporary greeting for the Main line when someone calls in both during the day and when phones are on night. I am unable to get into the system administrator mailbox. Please help, thank you!

Since you don't say otherwise I can only assume you have a Flash based voice mail system. The Main Greeting is changed per System Administration as illustrated in Section C of the System Programming and Operations Manual. Here is a link to a system manual that can guide you through the process. It is beyond the scope of this forum to divulge proprietary information (I.E.; any Passwords not readily available through Internet searching or Backdoor access of any kind). If you need a Technician feel free to post your request in this forum under Request an Installer.

Hello, So I have three different manuals and quick guides. They all same the same thing...
1. Dial into voice mail group. Press your voice-mail button or dial 440 from any system phone, or if your calling from an outside location, dial your main phone number.
2. When the system answers, dial [*] + [#] followed by the System Administrator Mailbox number: [#]+[00] The system will announce: “Mailbox 15-00â€, which is the System Administrator Mailbox number.
When I press [*] + [#], all I get is a busy signal. I can't get past this step! I've tried pressing * and # at the same time and also individually as well as doing it after putting in the password and also before, nothing works.
Am I doing something wrong?

Well then you probably have a different VM system like an HDD one or a talkpath
1. Dial 440 2. hit # 100 (or whatever you main extension might be) 3. Hit * 4. enter password 5. hit 7 for system admin 6. From there you should find a manual to record menu prompts if you've never done it or call in a knowledgeable tech

Never mind, That does not get me to System Administrator Mailbox, just the admin for the phone I'm on. I'm just going to call in a pro. Thanks guys for your help, I think our phones just got setup weird or something.
