Hey Guys, so I've been battling an issue for about a month. I've had NEC and Teleco give me the same setups on how to configure for IP without Registration and IP with Registration. NEC looks at my settings and says I'm good. Spectrum, says that we're not accepting what they send, yet we can ping one another. With what spectrum had me setup, incoming rings the 2100 on an Ext I have DID'd, but give the caller a disconnect, yet I receive the caller ID. When I Try to grab an outbound SIP Trunk, I get an immediate Fast Busy now. If I reboot the system, I can grab a SIP Trunk, but after that, all sip trunks fast busy. Does anyone have a working database I can look at that is working currently with Spectrum SIP on a 2100? I'm just trying to compare to make sure NEC hasn't missed something. I'm pulling my hair out fighting this.

I'll update you guys on my findings, I never had such problems with Toshiba SIP, been a whole new rodeo. I appreciate the help and info that was pm'd and posted here guys. But if anyone has a database that has IP With Registration built, I'd love to get a look at one of those databases too. The only difference I noticed in my database was 7 digit dialing compared to my 4 digit dial in mine, which I informed them to do 4 digit. Also I noticed in 84-13-28 was set to 711 Only but mine was set to 711PT per Spectrum. As soon as I get a free chance I was gonna make those changes, but I know Spectrum has botched up my current programming due to them pulling out all the straws they could think of.

Log into your free 2100 account on NTAC and follow the link to the 2100 white paper for install SIP for Sprectrum. Literally with Spectrum and their SBC I have at max taken 15 minutes to get this setups on an SV8100 and SV9100 followuing the white paper. Pretty sure they follow Charter as well..

Update: So it was Spectrums fault all along. They had a firewall setup on their Session Boarder Controller. So all the hours of changing my programming, and them saying it was the NEC SL2100, and NEC saying, uh no its Spectrum, welp, it was Spectrum. So advise to anyone having issues before a CUT on a Spectrum SBC, make sure they check that their firewall is off. And thanks HelpIfICan, my database was identical besides the 7 digit dial, and I was able to have Spectrum look at the setup from that database, to compare the SBCs, only for them to only then find they screwed up.

I can safely say that almost every SIP cut over with TW/Spectrum has been at issue and sometimes 5 plus hours on the phone and next day follow ups. 98 percent of the time its them. there really as far as i'm concerned program it and it works with them. for instance. last cut with SL1100 couldn't dial any 440 area code. problem after 2 days they messed up international and 440 in translation. who paid for this ...the customer. another one>delay in ringing after dial out on sv-9100 same exact setup as another 9100 1 mile away we set up .It had a 6 swecond delay that wasn't acceptable to customer. had to have NTAC make ARS routing tables to shorten delay. Why not on the other you ask? they way each Spectrum tech sets up the ESG router ...
Glad you got it solved anyhow.
