I have three extensions set up for voicemail to email, my one included. They are all set up as forward only. However, one extension is now performing forward and copy, but is still set to forward only. I have disabled the email gateway on the mailbox, reset the system, set to forward only, reset the system and it is still forward and copy.

Is there a way to permanently turn off the message light? If it was my own extension, I'd just clear the indicator, but it's the CEO. He insists on checking the messages when he gets back into the office because the light is on, in case he missed a message. Then when they're all the same messages he's already listened to in email and is upset because he wasted the time listening to the messages again.

You can turn the light off bit
IF the system is doing a copy forward and you turn the light off the mailbox will fill up and create more issues for him. I have never had one do this but my first thought is change it to copy forward backup the system change it back to forward only and backup the system again.
