Hello all. I am having a problem connecting to my DSX remotely. I set an Ip address in my phone system, forwarded port 8000 to that Ip address, I try to connect remotely but know luck. Any idea where I might be missing it. I can connect over the network.

If y can connect on the LAN and can't from the WAN you have a firewall issue.
I would setup a VPN
