Hi, We have an inter-tel access system that used to work fine but now all of the fax machines on the SLC card have to dial a security code after the long distance number they dial. The security code only used to work off of the stations and the fax machines did not need to enter it. What needs to be dnoe to make the faxs be able to dial long distance without using the security code? Thanks

I assume your codes are provided by your long distance carrier? If so you will need a trunk or two that do not require codes for outbound calling of the fax machines. Put these in a trunk group and set the SL ext associated ext to the TG, In the TG set the outgoing access to allow the SL fax machines to go out. Your other option is to put a pause and the code when you send a fax. I have several PRI customers with codes that have reprogrammed the speed dials in the fax machines to put a pause (,) then the code. When thye manually dial they dial the number pause and code hit send Randy
