Good morning all. I am trying to get a couple of non ringing stations to ring on a CIX 100. I am trying to do this through a telephone. I go into programming and at program 205 I enter 222 in each line parameter but my station doesn't ring. I checked one of the phones that does ring and it has 111 in the line parameter. Could it be that station ringing is set up in another program? Thanks in advance for any input.

If the handset doesn't ring when set to 222 then the calls are probably targeted at a multiple call group or hunt group then the key ringing assignments do not not apply.

Is there a program that I can check through the phone to see if my extension is part of 1 of those groups?

Programming the CTX/CIX via a handset is very difficult if not impossible.
There are so many different ways to configure the system like hunt groups, PhDN's, SDN, Multiple DN, MCG, UCD, ACD, CO Line keys, GCO Line keys or Pool Line keys it is impossible to advise without using the administration tool Network eManager.

You first need to find out what the phone number is PSTN, ISDN or SIP Trunk DID then see where it is targeted to ring.
Then check the internal numbering plan to see what the target might be eg PhDN Hunt Group etc then look at the program relevant to the destination.

I thank you for your input, it gives me a clearer picture of what is going on. What I need at this point is someone to dial into the modem and take a look. I realize that there will be a charge for that type of service. If anyone is interested, please contact me. Thanks, again.

If there is a dial up modem on the processor if you are using any dynamic type phone line staying connected to the modem will be an issue. Do you have a PC on your network that you can load network emanger and have support via remote access to that PC

I have a laptop that I can use. The problem would be getting the software to load properly. I tried it a while ago and had a problem loading it. Now I have windows 10 and I am sure that it will be more difficult.. But I can use my laptop.

There is a separate version of eManager for Windows 10. I found that the version for Windows 7 was easier to install. Eventually over the years Toshiba figured out how to automate most of the installation. The old versions required manual setup of IIS and MS SQL. The Windows 10 version has several manual steps, like the old versions.

Before doing a remote session with someone to help get Network eManager installed, make sure that you have all the requirements for the software, and that your laptop is not connected to a Windows Domain.

I can help you with the loading on Win10 but you have to follow every step on the PDF to get it to load correctly
