Hey gang,
Not NEC guy....(dabbled with DS / DSX in past).... I know manually inputting/dialing 703 0 gets me external paging on SL1100 system.....but (as you know) when I try to input that into a DSS button it doesn't accept that code....got button selected....at "enter data" point but just lets me enter 3 digits....so therefore what is the "button code" for this / external paging...?
Less important, but interested in knowing how to disable "happy music" before / after external page.....

Internal page code 7010 (0 after 701 equals page all External page code 7030 (0 after 703 equals page all Combined paging code *10 (0 after *1 equals page all.
Example of setting up a button Press the speaker key for internal dial tone, dial 751. press button to program, dial 01, 7030, hold, stutter tone will be heard, hang up, press the button all phones will hear external page tone followed by announcement.
If this doesn't work confirm extensions are in external paging group. Confirm codes were not changed in system numbering plan.
