I've attempted to rescue my VMP(X)-U40 board in my NEC IPK II system and it's "almost" working. It now says that my voicemail isn't activated and is asking for an activation code. It says it should be on my system information card but i don't have this card.
Does anyone know how to activate or finish rescuing this system?
I have the old CF card but it's pretty messed up.
Is there anyone at NEC left who can do activations?
Thanks, Noah

IPKII has been out of production and support a LONG time now. Pretty sure you cannot get this done by NEC. Might be able to get one refurbed and working online somewhere.

would purchasing a refurbished flash card work in my VMP ? Or do i need a whole new board and CF together? I understood the activation code was based off the cpu in the VMP board.
Thanks, Noah

You have to buy the whole thing as a unit.
