Client has an iPedge with an Adran 924e, also a Mediatrix 3000 series(to peel off a fax line),working perfectly for years... client wants to change providers(less cost/going to fibre)... currently the demarc to adtran is "pri", the adtran converts to "sip" to the ipedge... Question: will there be any re-programming/reboot required when the current "Pri" line is cut off and reinstalled with a new Pri line from new telecom provider?

Not sure why you had 2 pieces of equipment 924 and 3000 to do fax the 924 can do 24 copper trunks. Any way if you're going fiber internet why not just deliver as SIP and get rid of the 924 all together. Your new configuration is going to be internet to IDA (all the CLEC down here are using Adtran 924e Gen 3) to convert SIP to PRI then you are using your 924 to convert PRI to SIP.

As Steve said put the SIP trunks directly onto the IPedge and if the customer needs a fax on one of the DID numbers supply a 1 or 2 port FXS gateway connecting to the IPedge as a SIP extension and point the fax DID at that extension.
