Hello once again
We have an Axxess 9.115 that I would like to have the DID of the internal caller show up on the external callers caller ID. Right now all calls coming from our office show up as our main number on the person that we are calling's caller ID. I went into the station and under calling party number entered the number I want displayed but it did not work. It does work if I make a call to one of our DIDs but does not work if I call my cell phone or other number.

Contact your carrier to determine if they support Calling Party Number on your PRI.

This probably a more appropriate place for my question, also put in another, but that was for incoming, this is for outgoing.

I'm getting the run-a-round on this too. Our Inter-Tel vendor, AT&T and Time-Warner all three saying 'We set up right, somebody else wrong'. All we're trying to do is get our CALLER ID set up to show the Corp. Name to our customers (or any called party).
Apparently this has at least three floating variables, anyone got any pointers?

This is an ongoing problem with the cable companies. They simply don’t care that their records are wrong.
Assuming AT&T is your carrier, call an AT&T customer and see what name is displayed. If it’s correct, your PBX vendor and AT&T are off the hook.
Cox and Comcast deliver phone service in this area, and I’ve had zero response from them in getting their database updated.

99% of the time the carrier is a fault here. If you are not sending the name in each of the stations (it is called caller party name) then the carrier sends the name that it has listed as the main BTN number for your company.
Depending on the version software the Axxess added that feature in I think 10.0.
Now another thing to remember is not all carriers will accept you sending them a name. SO they will use whatever is in their database.
Now I have seen where the AT&T has had the right information but when they handed off the call to Deltacom the name changed because deltacom had not updated their database.
