Hello all, we have a 7200-S with approximately 25 DGP phones and standard phone lines. Customer would like to add couple of Ip phones in a remote location. 1- Do we need to purchase MGI for 2 phones? 2- which ports need to be forwarded in our router?
Thank you

How many ip phones are they getting? Do they plan on expanding to more later?
As for the ports, 6000 and 9000 both udp/tcp forwarded to the ip of the processor. Make it private w/ public and add the public static ip of the location.

I was asking because if they plan on expanding or if you decide to move to SIP service. It might be more economical to put in a OAS card instead of buying the licenses for MGI channels.
