Anyone ever run into an issue with a 20i not being detected? Just installed one in an older 7400 to replace a 20e that had failed. The new card powers up, but is not detected by the system. Cabinet information shows no card in that slot. I have tried multiple slots with same results. I went through the pre-install process and have even cleared the memory and started fresh with a clean software install. No luck.
I tried the SVMi card in a spare system at the office and it works fine.

Some additional info on this: the old system was running software version 4.53c, so it obviously had not been updated in a very long time. I did update to the latest software version before installing the new SVMi-20i.

Did you update the LP40 card as well? That's the card that actually makes everything talk to each other on the 7400.

I forgot to update this earlier and wanted to follow up while I'm thinking about it. Did you update the LP40 card as well? That's the card that actually makes everything talk to each other on the 7400. This was exactly the issue. Thankfully, I found some documentation before I left the customer site that day that mentioned the need to upgrade the LP40 when upgrading to 4.60, I think, which was the first software version to support the 20i. Updated the LP40 and all is well.
