We are running ver 5.01. With SVMI-20i. We added a line key to the receptionist phone for VT(Voicemail Transfer). It transfers to voicemail just fine but rings 5 times before it hits the voicemail recording. The user at the phone where it is being transfered to vociemail does not see the call come in. Question is; how do we get the voicemail transfer to NOT ring and hit the voicemail immediately?

How is the key actually programmed? Is it set as VT5039?
If the 5039 isn't added in the data side of the key program, the button functions as a normal transfer, hence the ringing.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

I've never seen a vt key do that. You did program the voicemail group (eg 529) at the end of the vt key? If you look at it in dm the 1st column should be vt, the 2nd 529 Or via kmmc vt529

Yes. That was it. Just needed the data side of the VT key. Thank you all!
