I’m trying to find some information on the new CP 20 I’ve been on the website I don’t really see anything
I know it’s got a faster processor larger voicemail what’s the reasoning behind it
It looks like the new phone systems are coming in as CPU 20
Can you still buy a CPU 10
Or are they justSelling them as CPU 20
It also looks like there’s two different versions of PC Pro
Thanks
JD

NEC released a CP20 upgrade manual. It may clear up some questions. NDA-31959 issue 1.0

CPU 10 is still available, for how long? I don't know. There are 2 versions of PC Pro, 1 for the existing CP 10 and the newer version for the CP 20. PC Pro for the CP 20 will not work with CP 10.
CP 20 has a faster processor more memory for more powerful future software. Rumor has it UC suite will become embedded along with call accounting.

It's my understanding that the new CPU + software is required to support the new DT500/900 phones. A similar upgrade is required for the SV93/9500 systems for the new phones.

I guess there’s a problem with the software that comes with the CPU 20 where it won’t let you upload licenses needs to be upgraded to the latest and greatest to correct the problem but I’m struggling I can’t remember where to find the software on the NEC anytime I know I’ve been there before but I’m drawing a blank any thoughts

You have to go to the licensing portal now. The customer will have a link to the software. It's really dumb IMHO...I don't hate much but NEC needs to get their damn websites fixed and buy a clue. I am so tired of keying is search words and having nothing populate.
