I have a customer that had their UC server blade, GCD-SVR2, crash a while ago. We loaded the software on a separate server and things are working fine. They are replacing a bunch of pc's and now would be a good time to update the UC software on pc's and the server.
Besides the software update itself, I see security patches for In Skin Server (GCD-SVR2) Blade, on NTAC. Is this only for those cases where the server is running on the blade? And not on a separate server? If on a separate server, as long as Windows updates are current, then I'm good to go?
Thanks for any info. Jim

I have to say I turn off automatic windows updating. Causes NOTHING but issues. Especially Windows 10.

Things worked out ok. I left the server alone and just did the UC update. Will let the windows update to IT.
Thanks Jim
