my customer has an sta with voicemail. they want to auto attendant to give hours and address but not do any transfers. i told them just dont give the option on ogm but they said it plays a canned message saying if you have a mailbox on this system.....and such. can i get rid of this message. thanks. dave

If you set all of the ports to answer with CCR #1, you can just record the information in greeting #1. If they really want it even more basic, just point their lines to an unused extension (a virtual one will work fine for this). Have this extension preset forward to voice mail immediately on page C to it's mailbox. Give out the information there in the mailbox greeting and set the COS for that mailbox to not take messages.

i think i will use the second option. long time sense i used a laptop on a sts vm. can i make it an informations only mbx but setting the number of messages to 0 in class of service 1.
