I had an IVP8 rev 2 crash and I replaced it with an older IVP8 rev 4.2/1.08. I did the plug and play using ADMIN3, R3ADMIN and UADMIN21 all with the same results. It works great if using 2 digit mailboxes, but not if using 3 or 4 digit mailboxes. I need 4 digit mailboxes to work but when testing and a call is b/na forwarded to vmail, I get "that was an invalid entry" prompt. The message lights turn on and off fine using 4 digits. I'm missing something but it's been years since I've done this. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Are you using SMDI or DTMF integration?

Brought the IVP8 to the office and connected to a DK40 and all appears to be working here. I can program an extension to be either 2, 3, or 4 digits and it'll call forward to the correct Vmail box and msg lights on/off work as well. So it has to be programming on the 424 side. When I set it up originally on the 424 I used slot 66 for testing instead of the original slot 54 that it was in (cabinet 5 also has the T-1 card which makes it difficult to shut down). I was hoping to move it to the last cabinet which only has 2 station cards in it to make it easier to shut down and remove if needed. Tomorrow I'll try again and if I can't get it to work in the last cabinet then I'll put it in slot 54.

Extend the "integration time out" setting in the Stratagy and see if that helps.

It worked on a test system at the shop at its current setting of 20. I'll try bumping it up but I'm not very confident in the outcome. My thoughts keep pointing me towards the DK, but I'm also accused of over thinking things all the time when it's usually something simple I've overlooked, like the integration timer. Thanks for the assistance!
