Does anybody have a copy or a link to an official notice from Panasonic on the discontinuation of the TDE100/200?

I have a customer that has several of them throughout their organization and is looking for extra ammunition to take to the bosses to approve funding and feel that if they can show that the systems have been end of life for a few years, they make have more success.

But why? Those systems are solid as rocks and parts are plentiful. They'd be fools to ditch them just because they are last year's model. Can you imagine if we did that with cars?

The customer is looking to implement IP connectivity between sites and they have a mix of TDA, TDE and NS700s. We can do either a forklift upgrade or put a NS1000 front end on the TDA/TDE sites but either way the tech guys need all the help they can get to get the purse strings opened.

Parts may be plentiful in the US, but are a little harder to get here,, unless we go refurbished or pay a premium and order from the States. Seems like all Panasonic Canada stocks is parts for the NS700 and 1000.
