Does anyone happen to know where I can get a programming cable? The one place I found online doesn't have it anymore. If anyone knows how to make one that would be helpful as well.

TIA!!

Have you tried Internet searching "Mitel 3000 programming cable pinout"?

If you haven't thrown your old cable away you can use it as a guide for making a new one.

Yes, I have attempted the search for the pinout. Have been unsuccessful in that. I have not had an old cable so I don't have that to go off of.

Does this look correct?

Connecting a PC or Printer to the Serial Port

A six-foot cord with a four-way RJ11 plug on one end and a six-way RJ plug on the other is provided. An RJ-toDB9 adapter is also provided.
Connect the cord to the four-way RJ11 connector on the CCU.
Connect to the PC using either the six-way RJ plug or the cord and DB9 converter as required.
The pinouts from the RS 232 interface of the DB9 to the RJ11 are:

DB-9 6P4C mod end
2---------------------4
3---------------------3
5---------------------1

Page 43 from here: http://www.voipinfo.net/docs/mitel/...l%20Mitel%203000_Rev1_LR2734_06201_1.pdf

Looking at various images for "Mitel 3000 programming cable" it appears this may be it.

Be forewarned: I know NOTHING about Mitel, but I now how to "Google".
Also on page 117 shows the connection settings: Serial Port 8 bit, no parity, 1 stop bit speed programmable 115k2

Thanks Professor Shadow. I missed that in the manual. I read that thing about 30 times. I will give it a shot and see what happens.
