Anyone know where to repair blown 7100 power supplies? Thanks.

Only place I know of is Telesource. They will repair them for you for $95 I think. Visit them here. It's the same people that you send for the warranty repair work.

Or you could try replacing these 2 Capacitors

Replace c42 1000mF 63V Capacitor
Replace c52 330mF 50V Capacitor

Look to see if any others are popped or mis shaped, the biggest challenge is to source the Caps in the proper dimensions to fit inside the power supply

Honestly, there is no telling what could be wrong with a 7100 PSU. I have attempted to do the repair on one. Replaced the busted/bad capacitors. Yet it still didn't work. Sent the thing in to repair, turns out they changed out 3 other capacitors including the ones I had replaced.

So unlike the iDCS100 PSU there is no way to truly tell. It could be any of the multiple capacitors or something else that's not even visible honestly.

That's just my experience with the 7100 PSU. Much cheaper just to send it in for repair than waste time trying to fix it yourself.

I agree, the 7100 power supplies look a bit more complex in circuitry. The 100's are usually straight forward although I did a repair yesterday that was not the regular 2 capacitors but a capacitor that looked fine in the switching circuitry.. The PSU-B's are actually pretty straight forward usually as well although again they don't usually have bulging capacitors like the 100.
I have 1 7100 supply here that actually blew a power resistor and blew it again when I replaced that so it's something further down the line I guess but nothing obvious.
