I would like to be able to get a call through OfficeServ and also be able to unlock the door from the phone, and see the live feed from a simple web interface or program.
Does anyone have any experience with any products, and would have any suggestions? | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 2,866 Moderator-Samsung | Moderator-Samsung Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 2,866 | I did exactly this a few years ago with a 2N video sip door phone with a keypad so they could dial any extension. Not cheap though. If you have smt-i5243 or 5343 with webcam you can get video and audio (oas card required for os7200 (mp20 only) or os7400. | | | | Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 13 Member | OP Member Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 13 | Yes I've seen 2N door phones, but are expensive. I've tried with HIKVISION DS-KD8003-IME1, its not very expensive, but also not very practical and haven't been able to get it to work very good.
We know for OAS card requirement. What other programing steps, other than Video Ring Enabled and Video Codec / Video Size are required? | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 2,866 Moderator-Samsung | Moderator-Samsung Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 2,866 | Standard username/password (username must match extension number otherwise it won't register).
I've only ever used the hik door station with the hik room station, so can't help with its config. | | | | Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 13 Member | OP Member Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 13 | You were able to make a video call from a hik door station with a room station / master station, to a smt-i5243, the same way as with a 2N door phone?
I want to know if it is possible with hikvision, because even with a master station, it is less expensive than with a 2N door phone. | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 2,866 Moderator-Samsung | Moderator-Samsung Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 2,866 | Never tried using Hikvision to samsung. I don't think it would work as the Hik door station would have to register to the Os7000 as a sip extension, then be programmed to call the extension/group when the button is pressed.
You will also need a usb webcam on the smt-i5243 even if you only want to receive video calling. | | | Forums93 Topics94,340 Posts639,394 Members49,443 | Most Online5,661 May 23rd, 2018 | |
