Customer wants to add one of these conference phones. A Polycom Trio C60 or Trio 8800. Has anyone successfully registered this on an SCM Compact or Express? Did it have any limitations?

thank you,
Jerry

I was told that the polycom conference phones work on the SCM and you can use the conference button on them, unlike the OS7000 where you had to manually create the conference.

You will need a 3rd party sip phone license on the SCM in order to register the phone.

I never tried Polycom's on SCM, got them working on the OS7000 though, but different models (IP5000, IP6000, IP7000)

Thank you nameless. Well the customer decided to go with a Polycom IP 6000 model conference phone. I have two of them and I do have the 3rd party sip licenses for them. About three years ago I setup an IP 5000 model on an SCM Compact, but it required assistance from Samsung or my distributor to help configure it correctly. Fast forward to now and I cannot remember what they did specifically and those resources are just non existent. Samsung support is terrible and C2M no longer has a knowledgeable tech for the SCM Compact. I used the integration notes provided by samsung for the Officeserv. They posted it on the SCM Compact knowledgebase, but its not an accurate guide for this system. I know for one the address must be the scm compact domain for it to work.

I have a screen shot for a polycom on scmc if you still need it.
I could probably get the system side, though iirc there isn't much to-do on 3rd party sip extensions on the system side.
