Good day! We currently utilize an Axxess 11 system with Unified Messaging. This was originally set up with IMAP integration for our Exchange servers, but we have had so many problems with the Exchange integration that we had to stop using the system. The biggest problems were - 1] when a Windows user changed his password on the network, a system admin would have to change the password for the UM and 2] whenever Exchange servers were restarted, the UM server also needed to be rebooted to connect back up with Exchange. Could anyone out there tell me how to set up the internal IMAP server on the UM server? We would like to use Unified Messaging's internal email server instead of utilizing the Exchange integration. Thank you! Jeremy

Jeremy,
In the Services, in the console tree, click Services (Local).
In the results pane, right-click Microsoft Exchange IMAP4, and then click Properties.
On the General tab, under Startup type, select Automatic, and then click Apply.
Under Service status, click Start, and then click OK.
To use the Exchange Management Shell to enable IMAP4 Run the following command:
Set-service msExchangeIMAP4 -startuptype automatic Run the following command:
Start-service msExchangeIMAP4
