I have a customer who purchased a Plantronics CS 50 headset
I’m trying to help her over the phone hooking it up but it’s kind of difficult she’s telling me she only has one way audio I’m not exactly sure what she’s doing wrong I’m sure this headset is fine I know it’s kind of an older model I still think she’s gonna need some kind a cable or lift kit so she can answer the phone from her headset

I think there’s also a couple of settings on the headset and that may need to be adjusted I was wondering if anybody had one in front of them or is more family with them

Or is this a newer model that would be more recommended

Thanks

JD

Lots of newer models since that one. Personally I always preferred the CS-55. Check her settings on the base. You or she can download a .pdf for it...

I use the CS540. If your base is not compatible with the EHS cable, you will need a handset lifter.

For the EHS to work, you have to program a headset button onto key 25. It won't work if you have the 8 button add-on or an IP set with the 60 button DSS as they use the same connector on the phone as the EHS cable.
