MMC-406 group 500
=================================
MMC- 601 group 500 overflow 25 secsonds then next port = 501.
==================================
MMC- 601 group 501 goes to VM
==================================
So all my trunks after 5-6 rings go to VM which is great.
=====================================
I want all my trunks after 5pm to ring to 501 and go to VM automatically.
So I set up MMC-507 for friday to 08:00-17:00.
At 5pm it doesnt ring to 501 it follows the normal 5-6 rings then VM

Also- What's the name for the night service station key button so I can manually put it in night mode.

Please help this is driving my crazy... LOL

What ring plan did you setup in MMC507 for the day?

If RP2 then in MMC406 RP1 you need to change the trunks to ring to 501.

Again depending on what you have put in MMC507 it will be a RPx (where x is 1-6) key

MMC 406 For trunk 701 I have
1-500
2-501

MMC 507 1 08:00-09:00
MMC 507 2 08:00-09:00

I have them both set for 1 hour just to test it to see if it goes to night. Not working

that will never work as both ring plans have the same start and stop times.

Here is what I setup based on your first post

MMC507

1 00:00-23:59
2 08:00-17:00

MMC406

1 - 501
2 - 500

Having issues again with the Day/Night and I tried to follow the setup from 2011 above.

This is what I have

I have all my trunks going to
MMC-406
1- group 501
2- group 500
=================================
MMC507 For Each Day

1 00:00-23:59 (Night)
2 08:00-17:00 (Day)
=================================
MMC- 601
Group 500
Normal group
Ring unconditional
overflow 25 secs
Grp Trsf : 000 secs
Next port = 501
Member 1-8 - None
Grp Busy Off
==================================
MMC- 601
Group 501
Normal group
Ring unconditional
overflow 1 secs
Grp Trsf : 000 secs
Next port = 519 (VM)
Member 1-8 - None
Grp Busy Off
=============================================================================================
So all my trunks after 25 secs go to VM announcement DAY and after 17:00 doesn't go to night announcement right away?
=============================================================================================

Also Is there a way to add night service button to the phones to test and bypass time of day?

You will need to setup a 2nd group to goto vm for night or change day overflow to vm from its group and record the day message in this new vm box.
As you have the day group overflowing to the night group

The keys you want are rp1 (night) and rp2 (day)

Do you play the same auto attendant message or is there a separate day and night message?

I am wondering why your 500 and 501 groups have no members in them?

I don't know why if you want it to go direct to auto attendant after 5 pm you don't set ring plan 1 ringing to 519?

And why does your day ringing 500 group overflow to 501? to use a no answer auto attendant?

Personally I would never use 500 as the main ring group as it is the default operator group.

Me I would set ring plan 1 to ring direct to 519 and ring plan 2 to 501. If you want the day to go to the greeting after a delay then set next in group 501 to 519 set the overflow timer to 25 sec and delete the 501 mailbox and extension form the vmail. That will overflow callers to the greeting.

Also if you are setting up a day greeting and a night greeting you need to use mmc 744 to tell the voicemail which ring plan is day and night. So as above you tell the vmail ring plan 1 is night and ring plan 2 is day if you desire a separate day and night greeting.

How do I add the night service button to the phones so it bypasses time of day and follow night routing so I can test it easier? I can't find Night when trying to configure on phones?

I know they have day and night greeting as it was working before the power failure and system lost its configuration.
The VM card didn't lose anything.

Does this config look good?

MMC-406
1- group 519
2- group 501
=================================
MMC507 For Each Day

1 00:00-23:59 (Night)
2 08:00-17:00 (Day)
=================================

MMC- 601
Group 501
Normal group
Ring unconditional
overflow 025 secs
Grp Trsf : 000 secs
Next port = 519 (VM)
Member 1-8 - None
Grp Busy Off
==================================
MMC-744
Ring 1- Night
Ring 2- Day

==================================

Im going over to the site shortly to test it out.

Also I want 3 virtual ext to be setup to go directly to VM.
I added the 3 Virt Ext and set up forwarding for all calls to go to 519. I went in to VM and created new mailboxes. When I call the numbers it goes to VM but doesn't allow me to leave a message why?

Like nameless mentioned you would need a RP1 and a RP2 for ring plan1 (night) and ring plan 2 for day.

You can test the operation of the forwarding just by dialling your ring groups If you dial 501 then it should go to the auto attendant after 25 seconds to the day greeting.Try it it works!
Usually when I set stuff up and want to check that calls get where I want them I set it up and temporarily set the overflow to 001 second and try it. If you leave it at 25 seconds, someones going to answer it!Then once I know it works, I reset the overflow timer to whatever they want.No need to make an inbound call to test.

Don't you need members in the 501 group? Like I mentioned make sure there is no mailbox or extension for 501 in the voicemail system.
Also make sure you have the voicemail extensions as members in 519 .

At night because you have it set to 519 the calls will go to the night greeting immediately .

As for your "virtual extensions",what you probably need to do is create a mailbox( no extension) in the voicemail example create mailbox 301.
Then if there is no extension and a caller hits the auto attendant after 5 pm and dials 301 the caller will go to mailbox 301. During the day if the caller is live answered, the person answering the call can transfer to the 301 mailbox with a VT key by pressing VT301 and hanging up.
