Need to programming incoming calls to ring on a phone. Also they have a message light on ext. but no voice mail message how can I turn that off. Will it program like the DCS?

Yes it will program like a DCS. with a few differences. For ringing use mmc 406 to set the ring to a single extension or a ring group if you need more than 1 phone.If you use a ring group , you will also need to set one up and then direct the calls in mmc 406 to that ring group.You may also need to set up ring plan times depending on your needs.

Message light could be a vm message? or a station message which you can clear by dialling 42 plus the extension to clear any message indicators left at that extension.

Thank you Its been working for years just that ext went bad so I put it on another ext number and that number wasn't programed to ring. I might have to put ext into ring group how would I find that?

you can reassign the extension if you want in mmc315 (you can do a swap of 2 extension as long as they are the same phone type) or in mmc 724 you can assign/change extension numbers.
If you just want to change the group , add the new extension as a member to the group in mmc 601 and maybe change the ring type to unconditional.

What if one doesn't have a phone on it 202 has a bad port works for 2 hours then quits changed cable pair still happened changed it to ext 207 and it works ok except ringing so can I still swap the ext.?

Plug the phone into 207 then go into programming mmc315 do a set relocate enter 202 and 207 Swap the pairs at the amphenol and done

already moved the phone at the amp so now just mmc315 202 and 207 swap

Thank you it worked beautiful but one thing is 800 they change password so went into 200 is there a way to get that password? Also they want to change the general mail box from 202 to 201 how can I do that?

To change the general mailbox you will need to access the SVMi and change it in there.
