Using an Axxess v11 system. IP phone users report hearing a caller coming into their speakerphone. The user is not a party on that call, they just 'hear' the other 2 parties talking. The user can not answer or disconnect from the call, they must wait until the other 2 callers disconnect.
I have reported this to Mitel, but not help. They recommend resetting the IP card, but it doesn't help. We have 5 locations/buildings on this system and 75% use the IP phones.
Any ideas?
Say Bye.

Never heard of this before...quite wierd if what you are hearing is valid information. Since these are IP phones you can setup a mirrored port on your switch to the IP phone and get a packet capture to prove/disprove this.
Are they able to pick up the handset and hear the conversation? Are they able to call out either on/off hook? Is the other conversion with another IP or Digital phone?
Also if P2P networking is turned on between the phones, you may also want to turn this off for a day or so as a test.
