Hi, We've a noisey environment in one building and the Inter-Tel KTS Standard isn't always heard. How do I add a Loud tone caller to that one extension only. Local engineers have advised to set a line to analogue, add an analogue sounder, and create a hunt group, that include the sounder and the problem extension number. Is that the best way please?

A self powered page horn off the speaker leads of the phone might be a ticket the ones we use have volume controls as well as the volume control on the phone you can bring it up or down as the noise changes Randy

Have a look for a Doro TeleFlash. A mic pad is stuck over the speaker of the digital phone which sets of a loud siren/lamp when the phone rings

Thanks Guys,
I've got a unit with the speaker pickup pad, and its ok with internal calls, but not external. Seems that the ist note of the ring tone is too short.
Can I make it longer?

Try changing the tone on the phone. Tone may have effect on pickup pad.
