Figured out how to configure the PBX to play music when callers are put on hold. everything is working as it's supposed to. But two extensions for whatever reason The music is playing through the loudspeaker even when phones are on hook. only thing i can do is put volume all the way down that's it but you still can hear it faintly. no other extensions do this but these two.
i'm stumped like a chump.
Thank you in advance from a pbx noobie just learning as he goes. | | | | Joined: Jan 2022 Posts: 28 Member | OP Member Joined: Jan 2022 Posts: 28 | i forgot to mention it's a officeserv 7100
I found a clew that might help. there looks like to be two different ring group.s one ring group has 2 extensions when outside callers call those two ring only. the rest 7 extensions are in another group.
i noticed that all extensions in the group with 7 extensions that don't take outside calls have that issue. but the two that do take outside calls do not have that issue.
