This is my first 9100 using something other than copper trunks. We are using a PRI with a 100 number DID block that had been in use in the previous system, a Nortel BCM 450.
The SV9100 went into service last week and the PRI is working, except for the outgoing caller ID, or Calling Party Number, as NEC seems to call it. The number that shows up at the called party's phone, is the main, first number of the DID block.
There are several offices with different published numbers. Each office wants their own published number to go out as the outgoing caller ID. On the old BCM, for each extension, we could enter a phone number that went out, called the Public OLI.
I have entered phone numbers for each extension in 21-18, and set 14-01-38 to use Program 21-18. None of this has helped. As usual, I'm missing a checkbox somewhere! Am I on the right track?
Thanks. Jim

Try Changing 14-01-38 from 21-18 to 21-13 first then make your changes in 21-13. Sometimes you have to tell the provider that you want control of the outgoing call ID.

That did it Ken B!
It's always a little check box that gets you.
Thank you. Jim
