Hello all,
we have an 8 port Ix4vml+Ix4evMl
on adix aps version 7.15

strange intermittent issue
on at least 3 mailboxes the same voicemail is recorded over and over again with different time stamps
20 messages for me today
last week my boss had 60
the receptionist had reported at least twice she had 40

sounds like the CFM card has corruption.
try deleting the mailboxes then recreating them after the system runs housekeeping at 3am
if not you may need to reinitialize the cfm or replace it.

It's also possible your data base is corrupted, or your voicemail hunt group is messed up (like set to an ALL RING group ) and you have more than 1 port recording a message for a phone call. Try watching the status screen as a call comes in to see how things are behaving.

i have been monitoring the v/m status BUT since its intermittent I am going to have a long wait

IF the database is corrupt how do I un corrupt it ?
checked the ALL RING
I do not see any set to that

What kind of lines are used for incoming calls? If you have CID lines, there is an area in the voicemail programmer that will show you where calls come from and which port processed the calls. Might be helpful.

I can't remember which tab it's on, though...
