Hello everyone!

Newbie here, trying to configure OfficeServ 7400. Can you help me please to understand how to allow for certain numbers, calls only to 4-digit phone numbers. So they could call for example number 2300, but couldn't call +37164111111.

You'll need to setup your toll allow and Toll deny tables first.
Then assign the required toll table to a cos, then assign that cos to the required extensions

I'm really sorry, but i just can't understand how to do it step by step. Manual doesn't contain any examples, so i just can't understand how to do it.

Can you give me please example how to work with them? Right now my toll allow and toll deny lists are empty, how for example create toll deny list which will block numbers with more than 5-digits in them? Should i create multiple entries with XXXXX, XXXXXX, XXXXXXX for each entry? Or there any expression that i can use?

Is this correct way?


Do i understand correctly that this is the place to do it?

What's 2300? How do you call the desk next to you? Do all outside calls start with 371 or can you dial 8 digits?

These are all questions that an installer would ask to set up a dialing plan and it's beyond the scope of our humble forum to do your homework.

If your allow and restrict tables are empty, you might want to try inserting digits into it and test. Filling the tables is only a part of your programming. You then need to apply the tables to a Class of Service and extensions to a COS as noted above.
