Our organization is currently using an Axxess v. 11.01 system with mainly 550.4400 phone. As our phones get older and slowly break on us, we would like to being replacing them with 8500-series digital endpoints. I was just wondering if the 8500 series is compatible with our system version? (All DKSC/DKSC+ card PALs were upgraded last year). Thank you!

Yep, just program and assign new keymaps. All functions are the same. It's more political than technical. "How come he gets a new phone and I don't?"

AMEN!!!!!!
What's funny is that the 4400s have more buttons. But people still plead for the new phone.

That's 'cause they look cooler.
Our 8560's have 34 buttons + dial-pad. Keeps most busy.
