Hi all happy New Year. I have an SL 2100 that rings x111 on incoming calls (POTS lines) and then times out to x111 voicemail after about 5 rings. I put a virtual ringing appearance of x111 on the rest of the digital phones (about 10 total extensions). Here's my dilemma: We added an analog cordless but it will not ring as you cannot add a virtual to a cordless. How do I set up a ring group to include all the digital phones and cordless and after 5 rings go to an AA? Then I can have it timeout to x111 VM. We dont do NEC too often so your assistance greatly appreciated!!

You will need to make the analog station the main and add it to the multi button phones as the virtual, assign a voicemailbox to the analog station, add a inmail voicemail access to one of the buttons any or all multi button phones, when a message is left it will flash these buttons.

You can setup a IRG for the lines and add the extensions in there. IRG target 1 will be to group 1, IRG target 2 will be to 102 for AA then you can setup the timeout there for x111 VM. In IRG setup, then add the extensions for the 10 phones plus the analog station for the cordless. Then wire in the cordless to your first available analog port. Then setup your IRG no answer timer for 20 and the AA should pickup after 5 rings.

POTS Lines

Make sure you use IRG (ring groups). Add the cordless to the ring group with the other. Delayed IRG to 102.

If you need it to go to a certain MB and NOT AA go into your INMAIL (47) settings and set your 47-10,11,12 trunks to station MB that you want using that MB index number.

Ex:

Ring Grp 1 -> Ring Group 102->Auto Attendant programmed to go directly to MB you want.
