Hi,

An end user has the ns700 with 34 digital ports, the kit is operating 28 phones ok.

Once phone 29 is connected (on either digi card) it won't load up as if the kit is limited to 28 working handsets.

Software is 4.41009 - i guess updating this is the only really option? the error logs don't suggest any problems.

License limit is not on digital phones so updating to v9 won’t help. It is only on IP phones.

Sounds like you are over power limit of the system. What phones are you using on the system

You may need an expansion cabinet

I believe theres about 4x DT543 and 24x DT531

The system also may have one SLT connected.

A line card is also conected but not used. SIP trunks only.

Sorry for the delay in posting back, did you get sorted.

Looking at the type of phones you should be ok for power units as long as it is another 5xx series phone you are connecting.

It should show up in the error log.

Are you connecting the extra phone to the system or off the back of another phone

No havn't been back to site as yet. I remember checking the error logs at the time but nothing logged.

Connecting to patch panel ports direct from pbx - these where tested again before the handset 28 was connected.

The next time on site will try a restart / software upgrade.
